Juno is in the process of establishing our first children’s home in Wirral (scheduled to open in April/May), with another in the pipeline for later in 2023. We're looking to commission on a spot purchase basis a Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) assessment for each child in our care.
The Role
We see Speech and Language assessments as the first step in guiding us in understanding how the child thinks, how they process information, and the implications of this for our care planning (do they understand instructions, do they understand if peers are drawing them into dangerous situations, etc.).
We’re looking for Speech & Language Therapists who have experience working with, and engaging, teenagers with emotional health and wellbeing needs.
In each home, there will be a maximum of 4 children, aged 11-17.
In 2023, we’ll need the following assessments done:
2 in April-June
2 in June-August
4 between October and December.
Subject to review, we will eventually require four assessments in each of the 10 homes that we are developing.
