Experts by Experience
Juno was born out of the views and insights shared by care-experienced people in 2020.
Since then, we’ve remained committed to spending a lot of time talking, sharing, thinking (and rethinking) about what great quality care looks like with care-experienced people. In 2024, we formalised how we do this by recruiting a dynamic team of Experts by Experience - paid staff with real decision-making responsibilities.
Our Experts by experience help to keep Juno's homes at a really high quality by supporting us to recruit great people with the right values, guiding our business plan and strategy, helping us turn houses into homes and everything in between.
The Care Team
Our care practitioners join the team from a diverse range of backgrounds, bringing their expertise as social workers, educators, foster carers and councillors. They are working to create an environment where children and young people feel safe, loved and supported in all aspects of their development.
