We're looking for a Registered Manager for Juno New Brighton

Updated: Jul 9

With our first home, Juno Oxton, up and running, we are expanding. We will be opening our third home, Juno New Brighton, later this year - it's a brilliant opportunity for an experienced manager to join the team.

The Role

Place of work: Wirral, Merseyside

Remuneration: £42,000 -  £51,000

Job terms: Full-time, permanent

As the Registered Manager at Juno New Brighton, you will be responsible for growing and leading a new care home team, managing the day-to-day operations.

We will provide you with high-quality training and development opportunities, offering all the necessary support.

As the Registered Manager you will:

  • Make sure that every child and young person in our care has the best possible experience: that they experience love, joy and safety, and are encouraged to lead their best lives.

  • Be registered with Ofsted and lead the home to achieve Outstanding results in inspections, with support from your team and senior managers.

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the children's home within an agreed budget.

  • Develop and maintain effective and respectful relationships with children, staff, parents and partner organisations.

  • Take a lead in developing care plans and working with each child to achieve positive outcomes.

What benefits do we offer?

  • You’ll get plenty of holidays which increase with the length of service.

  • We’ll train you in Trauma Informed Practice and Social Pedagogy. We will provide therapeutic coaching and will be committed to your ongoing learning and development.

  • You’ll be shaping your new home and building your own team within a growing social enterprise. You'll also have future development opportunities as Juno grows across Liverpool City Region.

  • You’ll get a good workplace pension and a perks package that includes the use of a company car at work, birthday leave, a festive rota and staff socials.

  • You’ll be supported by an experienced team committed to improving the quality of care in the UK - focused on outcomes not profit - with plenty of training, supervision and emotional support.

Who are we looking for?

Requirements for the role include:

  • Level 5 Diploma in  Leadership and Management of Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)

  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Manager in a Children's Home with Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
