We're looking for a brilliant, experienced Registered Manager who wants to further their career in homes that will provide Outstanding care for children.

You will run our second Home, Juno Wallasey when it opens later this year. Your first few months will be spent in Juno Oxton, working alongside the care team.

Place of work: Wirral, Merseyside

Salary band: £42,000 - £45,000

Job terms: Full-time, permanent 36h/week, flexible working

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and grow the home care team in a new home, working with colleagues to create a positive culture and ethos, nurturing teams and responding effectively when things don’t go to plan

  • Be registered with Ofsted and lead the home to achieve top results in inspections, with support from your team

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the children's home and oversee the budgets.

  • Create a comfortable, welcoming and child-friendly therapeutic environment for children, using techniques to improve their self-regulation, their emotional competence and connectedness to others

  • Deliver creative programmes and experiences that create strong bonds between the team and the young people and that make everyone smile.

  • Manage processes and procedures to make placements in the home, ensuring they consistently work in harmony with social pedagogical approaches and regulation

What benefits do we offer?

  • You’ll get plenty of holidays: 27 days+

  • We’ll train you in Trauma Informed Practice and Social Pedagogy. We will provide therapeutic coaching and will be committed to your ongoing learning and development

  • You’ll have broader leadership development opportunities as Juno grows and opens new homes across Liverpool City Region

  • You’ll get a good workplace pension and above-average pay

  • You’ll be supported by a core team committed to improving the quality of care in the UK

Who are we looking for?

We are most interested in who you are as a person. We are looking for people from diverse backgrounds, who personify our values. People who are loving, compassionate, clever and creative.
