We are looking for a brilliant person with experience in Children's Residential Care to become a Deputy Manager at Juno.
The Role
Place of work: Wirral, Merseyside
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Job terms: Full-time, permanent
As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, working flexibly to meet changing demands.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Be responsible for work allocations and ensuring effective teamwork
Quickly establish trusting relationships with children and provide practical day-to-day care for them in a loving and supportive way, which enables their growth and development
Organise, participate in and plan shared activities and interests with children to nurture their wellbeing, learning and growth
Take the lead in developing care plans and then work with each child to follow their care plan to reflect their changing needs and be proactive in working to achieve the aims of their care plan

You will have:
A Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
Two years experience of working with children in a residential care setting
Experience in supervising other staff and experience of effective co-working with other professionals
Full, clean driving licence
An understanding of the risks and issues facing children in care and their families
