We’re on the lookout for a loving and talented person to lead our children’s home in Runcorn, opening in early 2026.

The Role
Place of work: Runcorn, Halton
Remuneration: £46,000 to £55,000
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the Juno team as we open our fourth not-for-profit children’s home, Juno Runcorn, opening in early 2026. This will be a three-bedroom home, focused on supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities and autism.
The day-to-day
As a Registered Manager, you will…
Make sure that every child and young person in our care has the best possible experience. You’ll play a key role in ensuring children experience love, joy and safety, and are encouraged to dream big and lead their best lives.
Lead and grow the home care team, working with Juno colleagues to create a positive culture and ethos, nurturing staff and responding effectively when things don’t go to plan.
Be registered with Ofsted, leading the home to achieve Outstanding results in inspections, with support from your brilliant team.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home within an agreed budget.
Develop and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, staff, and partner organisations.

What you’ll bring
Role requirements include…
A Level 5 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) with two years’ experience of working as a Registered Manager in a children’s home with a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
A full, clean driving licence.
