The Role
Place of work: Wirral, Merseyside
Remuneration:
£12.82 - £14.42/h, £60 sleep rate
(expected annual salary: £29,000 - £33,000, depending on experience)
Job terms: Permanent;
1 on, 2 off shift pattern, or 2 on 4 off shift pattern

As Juno's Social Care Practitioner, you will provide day-to-day care for children and young people living with us. You will quickly establish trusting relationships and support people in our care with their education, shared activities, and overall wellbeing.
We will provide all necessary training and plenty of support, so you feel confident in the role and fund professional education opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Organising, participating in and planning shared activities and interests with children to nurture their wellbeing, learning and growth
Working flexibly to meet changing demands and being willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities to ensure the safe day-to-day running of the home
Taking responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of children, the workforce and visitors to the home by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
If you join us as a Senior Social Care Practitioner, you will lead on shift, making informed decisions and supporting colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements for the role include:
Experience working with 8-17-year-olds in Children's residential care
Driving licence (preferred)
Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance
Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent - including teaching, child development, psychology degree etc.) - essential for a Senior role only
